Ever since this type of aircraft evolved, there has been a kind of romance associated with the planes, the pilots, and the missions they fly. The fighter has evolved from that simple wood-framed canvas-winged aircraft, to the deadly machines of today.

In most cases it becomes a game of who-sees-who, first to gain the upper-hand in a distant combat situation. The dog-fighter, however, has not been lost. Aircraft such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon, and the F/A-18 Hornet optimize the modern dog fighter.

Enjoy the first segment what will become a massive photographic archive. There are hundreds of historic civilian and military aircraft photographs to come. Unfortunately, over the years many of them have degraded, so need to be restored, prior to being displayed on this website.
